Cyanotic feat. in new Chronicles of Riddick video game

Its been a big week here in the frozen tundra of Chicago for us, as we've received news from fans all over the world that Cyanotic's "Insurgence" has been featured in online and TV advertisements for the new Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena game coming to XBox360, Playstation 3 and home PCs in March. Also, keep your ears open for Cyanotic tracks in new episodes of HBO's "Real Sex", MTV's "Parental Control", specials for "Dead Space" and "Gears of War 2" on Sci-Fi Channel and the new commercial for HorrorMerch, which we will be debuting more news about shortly.

All of this exposure couldn't have come at a better time for us, as we're nearing the final stages of completing our new album "The Medication Generation" and will be using the profits to upgrade our studio setup and get this album in the hands of our label, Bit Riot Records, for a summer release.

We're excited to start 2009 with a bang. The past couple months since we did our last tour have been slow-going thanks to winter weather making me want to put my head in an oven, but we've all finally got the rush of momentum necessary to finish everything that we've been working on the past few years.

Its been nonstop music work all week, working on programming for a song on the new 16 Volt album, as well as working on the new Cyanotic and continuing to put finishing touches on the mysterious Prude project with our main guy Phil (from Infocollapse). We're not posting news as much as we should, but its been a very busy couple of weeks, and we will be keeping people up to date via our Cyanotic mailing list (10,000 members strong as of this week!), Cya-MySpace, forums and Twitter.
